These are your father's fact drives. Fact drives are expensive to make, but very important in your particular line of work. They store statements about the world, but only if they are verifiably true. Once they are written to, very little can be done to remove the statements in them, aside from physical destruction.

The further a proposition is from the present, the harder it is to store it, making old drives exponentially more valuable. You could sell these to an archivist group for a fortune.
